Massachusetts viewed the Indians as inferior. Several tribes attacked Massachusetts Bay except for Plymouth colony where Indians actually liked the Englishmen. In Massachusetts Bay colony, most English settlers made the Indians feel threatened that they were there and trying to harm them. In Plymouth colony, the first Thanksgiving was held with Native Americans and Englishmen joined together to have a big feast with the foods brought from both peoples and had a time to remember which lasted around 3 days. This continued as a day to remember the time when the Native Americans and Englishmen had finally become as one in peace and harmony.
